Around Santanyí, Artà and the Tramuntana foothills, historic fincas are being carefully restored – and then robbed of their dignity with DIY-store spotlights. Thick stone walls cannot simply be chased open, beamed ceilings do not tolerate grid downlights, and outside, salt air and UV quickly destroy cheap fixtures. Good finca light works with the building: it grazes walls, emphasises texture, guides through patios and gardens – and almost disappears by day.
We design with minimal intervention: surface-mounted and ground fixtures instead of chased walls, warm 2200–2700 K for stone and wood, glare-free path and pool lighting outdoors. Materials are specified salt-air-proof, drivers remain accessible. Scenes like 'Dinner in the patio' or 'Arriving at night' run via app or schedule. Custom 3D-printed luminaires fit into niches and vaults for which no catalogue product exists.
